Region Veneto

The Veneto tour is one of our busiest tours. It’s not about the size of the Veneto region, which is quite large by the way, but in the diversity of this stunning place. Each day of the tour will be dedicated to a separate wine-making zone and the legendary wines produced in these territories. So, the day of Prosecco, the day of Amarone and the day of Franciacorta are waiting to give you tons of emotions.

Oh, stop, we’ve forgotten to mention a sea of cheeses, castles, lakes, delicious experiments, new acquaintances and lots of laughter.

Venice is not included in the tour, but you can easily order Venice sightseeing program from us. We will organize everything: a local guide, a program, restaurants and an excellent hotel in the most touristic city in Italy.

Day 1

Departure from Venice (a program with departure from Verona can be considered).

Our gastronomic route will start from an amazing place - probably the craziest cheese factory in Italy. Their cheeses are genuine artworks, rewarded with gold medals at the World Cheese Awards (international cheese championship) every year. Basajo - blue cheese in Passito sweet wine, sheep cheese in drunken raisins, cheese with truffle in the cinnamon crust, cheese aged in Alpine hay, cheese soaked in wine, goat cheese with natural honey and many other fantastic kinds of cheese are waiting for us. Ready to plunge into the history of the cheese family and taste these masterpieces?

Lunch at a fabulous local restaurant. Get ready to eat a lot and laugh at the jokes of the owner who will join us during the meal!

Transfer to Conegliano, the capital of Prosecco.

Here a fascinating tour of the so-called wine route begins. This charming route called the Prosecco and Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene Wine Road (Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano-Valdobbiadene). It passes through the province of Treviso. We will visit the cellar of the Institute of Wine (Istituto Enologico) founded in 1876 and wineries with sample wines. Of course, you will taste all of them.

Dinner and night in a stunning rural agriturismo. Cosy like home!

Day 2

Breakfast.

Moving towards the beautiful Verona, but we’ll talk about her later. First - Valpolicella, the most famous wine region of Veneto, whose name translates as "the valley of cellars".

Tasting is the best way to know this region from the inside! Allegrini wine cellar is the leading producer of the classic Valpolicella and one of the most awarded and recognized Italian wineries in the world. A stunningly beautiful villa, a magnificent tour of the cellars and production, and fantastic tasting at the end.

Then, a great lunch at the Allegrini family estate, a part of the villa.

After lunch, our guide, an art historian, will show you a "Secret Verona". The city of Romeo and Juliet, love and romance, breathtaking landscapes will make you forget all the troubles and sink into its incredible atmosphere.

Dinner at our beloved ancient osteria. Ready to taste the foal stew? What’s about the horse meat stew? Or the most tender ducklings in the world? Note, that all these masterpieces will be prepared according to an ancient local recipe. Take your glass of homemade wine and get ready to meet your gastronomic dreams.

Then, you will sleep like a baby at the cutest boutique hotel in the town.

Day 3

Breakfast.

Continuing our wine adventure. Franciacorta is on the agenda today. If someone would call all sparkling wines one big family, the Franciacorta be the twin sister of French champagne in it. Moreover, aged Franciacorta’s beats champagne in blind tastings, because of their deep multi-layered taste.

Lunch in a family restaurant on the lake, famous for its fish cuisine. Our tourists have loved this place for a long time! We are sure that you will join the list of these “restaurant lovers”.

Then, walk in Malcesine - the most picturesque town near Lake Garda. The beauty of these places cannot be expressed in any words, local citizens call this relatively small settlement “the pearl of Garda”.

Visiting olive oil production. You will join a master class with tasting. You will be taught to understand this amazing product, to distinguish bitterness from bitter notes. It will be incredibly interesting!
